AGPAL Accreditation lets you know that this general practice has met standards set by the medical profession. These standards are designed to ensure high quality care is provided in a safe and well organised way.

Who is AGPAL?

AGPAL is Australia General Practice Accreditation Limited. AGPAL was established by representative bodies of the medical profession. AGPAL is managed by the profession to promote quality standards in general practice. AGPAL has organised the survey of this practice by two people who have experience in general practice.
AGPAL is a not-for-profit organisation and is not part of the government. It is dedicated to improving the quality of health care to all Australians. Recognition by AGPAL demonstrates the commitment of this practice to continually improve the services to our patients.

The standards are about:
Your rights when you use a general practice
How safe the building is
How secure your records are
How the doctors care for you
Being able to obtain medical care day and night
The equipment and how it is used
How the doctors and staff keep up their skills.
